Tubeset for Engl Classic 50 E350

 

This tube set features our RT030 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE TAD Premium Selected in the first position. This tube serves as the foundation for warm clean sounds with punchy mids and a fat overdrive sound with a smooth top end.

 

The following three positions have our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

 

For the power tubes, we advise our RT102 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE   TAD PREMIUM Selected.

With the right amount of power in the low end, clear and transparent highs, they fill everything from big warm cleans to modern hard rock sounds with life and bite! This tube generates the sound of rock legends!

 

The bias of the power tubes should be set to approx. 30-35mA. If the original ENGL tubes are still in use, please tell us their grading.

We can supply tubes with the same grading, hence re-biasing becomes unnecessary.
