Tubeset for Bogner Goldfinger 45

 

In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT-7025 TAD REDBASE 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE. This tube works greatly for warm clean tones and creamy overdrive. We recommend this tube for the 1st gain stage and as input tube.

 

For the following position (V2), we use our RT-12AX7 TAD REDBASE 12AX7/ECC83 Premium Selected.

 

In (V3) we operate our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83  TAD Premium Selected. This perfectly balanced 12AX7 will allow the tube output stage to perform at its optimum for smooth tone and definition. The overall responsiveness will be significantly improved by revealing the full dynamic headroom of the amplifier. Tight deep bass, complex lively mids and silky top end with overall definition. When driven to saturation a guitar amp using a TAD 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected tube will provide its optimum sustain and sounds with harmonic overdrive.

 

The NOS 12AT7EC is a US-military grade tube and is loved in old Fender Amps. This TAD premium selected RT004 12AT7WC-USA NOS TAD Premium Selected is perfect NOS and performs greatly in (V4) of this amp.

 

The last preamp position (V5) uses our RT003 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

 

The matched qoad of our RT234 6V6GTB-STR TAD PREMIUM Matched creates a detailed and powerful tone and an abundance of sustain; characteristics you would actually only expect from the finest NOS 6V6GTs. Even when pushed into saturation, there are no harsh upper mids, which is frequently the case with other 6V6s. Sweet full-bodied tone with silky highs. This tube is just perfect for all 6V6 applications where a powerful but sweet tone is desired.

Power tubes need to be biased: we recoomend ca. 22mA.
